As long as we keep on increase our needs, we get into troubles.  Peace will not come when we do not get satisfaction. We will not get satisfied if our need is not filled. So, if we keep on increasing our needs, we would never get satisfied and in turn we would not be in peace. Actually one should look for increasing the QUALITY OF LIFE and not STANDARD OF LIFE. 
Just because one has many dresses and goes to hotel for foods and has AC in his home, doe not mean his standard of life is higher. If one’s mind is peace and he is happy then only his standard is really higher.  Mental peace and satisfaction will not come from external agencies. As long we keep on buying - new new items will be produced and we go for those new items. So, we would never be satisified. Moreover the poor will get jealousy and do wrong things for acquiring all new items. This not only decreases one’s peace but also increases wrong in society.
So rich or poor, people should learn to live simply. Leading a simple life will be the best for oneself and also for the society. If rich donates money to poors and leads a simple life, the poor also will learn to live simply. All leaders talk about simplicity but do not put them in practice.

What is Suya Rajya or ruling of the self ?
Nowadays it has become common for everybody to talk about freedom, self ruling etc.  But actually we are following british only in the dress / activities and all.. Paramatcharya says that as long as we follow the style of foreigners we are under them only. The real freedom comes when we get out of their style of living and live in our own style. Our own ancient ways of living should be brought to use.
We should follow our ancient style not only becuase it was ours but also because it has been running for 1000s of years and people have lived in those style peacefully.  Just voting a person in british style wearing british dress and putting rules like british does not mean we are freed. We are still under them only.  All our ancient deeds are more of atma related. Though everything was related to lowkika but underlying fact of atma relation was there in every action of our ancient style. We should practice our own style and teach all other country people also about our style.
